Our pastor is Christian Pilet. His wife is Nicole. They are missionaries serving with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) and Tri-M Ministries.
Christian received his biblical training at Cedarville College, Western Seminary, and Baptist Bible Seminary. He entered full-time ministry in 1993, serving as the Director of a Youth-for-Christ chapter and then as a youth pastor before being appointed as a missionary with ABWE in 1997.
Christian recently began serving additionally with Tri-M ministries (in 2018), an educational ministry that seeks to bring theological education to those places where it is most needed. This new work will eventually require him to be outside of the country for substantial amounts of time, but it will also permit him to continue his work at Living Hope and assist the church as it increases its leadership team.
Nicole received her biblical training at Cedarville College and Piedmont Bible College, and she was appointed as a missionary with ABWE in 1998.
Christian and Nicole met in 1998 and were married in 1999. They served three-and-a-half years in Mongolia before being reassigned to the States to meet the medical needs of one of their children. They have seven children, two dogs, two cats, and a squirrel.
